The Indian Fisheries Outlook (IFO), a flagship event of Professional Fisheries Graduates Forum (PFGF), is a prestigious national platform that brings together scientists, academicians, policymakers, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and progressive fish farmers to discuss emerging trends, innovations, and challenges in the fisheries and aquaculture sector. Following the successful organization of the first edition at ICAR-CIFRI, Kolkata in 2022 and the second edition at College of Fisheries, OUAT, Odisha, the 3rd IFO–2027 is being hosted by the College of Fisheries, Kishanganj under Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU) located in the ecologically rich yet economically developing Seemanchal region of Bihar. The conference aims to promote innovation-driven, sustainable, climate-resilient, and inclusive fisheries development while strengthening the link between science, policy, and practice for the growth of the blue economy and Viksit Bharat 2047.
