About the Venue
College of Fisheries, Kishanganj is located 22 Km away from Kishanganj Railway Station. The nearest airport to college is Bagdogra International Airport (64.7 km). The city is connected through railway to all the major cities of India. Darjeeling, a famous hill station in the Himalayan foothills, is 130 km from college. Sikkim, a north-eastern state known as “land of flowers” and famous for Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest peak is 200 km from college. In Kishanganj, the month of February offers pleasant weather with average temperature of 18 °C.
Accommodation
Accommodation for delegates will be available in hotels at Kishanganj on a payment basis. A list of recommended hotels with tariffs will be provided on the IFO–2027 website. On-campus accommodation will be available for student participants on a first-come, first-serve basis, subject to availability.
Post Conference Tour
Post conference tours (Bengal Safari Siliguri, Darjeeling, Sikkim & Kalimpong) will be arranged on payment basis to make a visit to Kishanganj memorable. Interested delegates must inform their plan well in advance during registration.
